Post Savvy AMT clutch
Hi I'm a newbie on your wonderful site and at first glance it seems a great place for all things proton. My wife has a savvy AMT and it seems impossible to find a new clutch in the UK, is this the case. Many thanks in advance

Hi and welcome to the club.

The Savvy can be one of the most tricky Proton models to find certain parts for, but the clutch kit is definitely not impossible to find. You have come to the right place. I have a brand new kit available for £40 including postage.

Hi and Welcome.

On the Savvy, the engine and both manual and auto-manual transmission units like yours are last-generation Renault Twingo/older Clio designs, so that is an avenue to explore if you've not tried already.

One or two members on here are ex-dealers/Proton specialists, who could well be able to help out.

Is it certain that the clutch needs replacement? Sometimes an adjustment or replacement of just a
part by someone who really knows what they are doing can be a solution, depending on the exact nature of the problem.
