Post Jumbuck front suspension "Blues"
Can anyone tell me which of the many "Proton" front suspension control arms/wishbones listed by sellers on
ebay, fit a Jumbuck? They generally seem to be Quinton Hazell branded so one of their ref. nos would be ideal.
Desperately trying to keep a '96 GL on the road & my mechanic has had a meltdown trying to suss out
compatability re. Proton parts!

What's up with the control arm? Have you bent it?

I'm sure se325919 will have the low-down on part numbers, but I do have a Jumbuck and Wira (both 04) so I can compare if needs be, but I would have guessed they are the same.
Current cars:- Jumbuck, Wira, Gas Powered Jeep ZJ, Volvo V70, Mazda2

I'm currently out of the country so can't check until I get back, but as you say they are most likely the same.

I do have replacement ball joints in stock though and they are very cheap, so if it's only the ball joint that's the problem, there should be no need to replace the complete wishbone.

Lower Wishbones.

There are two types.
One without a droplink tab, and one with.
The Jumbuck needs the type with the tab.
